Joe The Barbarian, the new comic series by Grant Morrison and Sean Murphy is (un)surprisingly awesome. The first issue blown me away, and I say a good start is a good start.
Mark Andrew from CBR found the book rather ‘boring’, but lick my ass, Mark. Learn the difference between slow-paced and fast-paced plot. And did you notice all those impressive details of Sean Murphy’s drawings? They’re perfectly fit the script. Yes the book advances slow and carefully, but never boring. In my opinion, the slow plot gives the readers a moment of pause to scrutinize the quiet details around, without being hurried by flashy narrative.
